Andrew Chesworth - Character Animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios

Andrew Chesworth is an animator currently working for Walt Disney Animation Studios. He was born in Dover, Delaware and moved around to many different cities as his life and career grew.

Growing up drawing a lot of cartoons, Andrew decided to enroll at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where he studied animation. After trying his luck (twice), Andrew managed to get into Disney’s Talent Development Program in September of 2011. Now he works full-time at Disney on new and upcoming animated films.

His career has also involved personal animation projects, animation direction, and other animated short films as part of film festivals and various collaborations.

Andrew’s latest projects involve Lauren MacMullan's short film "Get a Horse!" which opened in front of Disney's recent film "Frozen". He worked under the animation supervision of Eric Goldberg and Adam Green on the Mickey Mouse cartoon reconstruction. He worked on "Frozen" and "Wreck-It Ralph" for the past year and more yet to come!

We Interviewed David Lam - Lead Cinematic Animator at Naughty Dog and Instructor at iAnimate.net

David grew up as an active kid, full of energy that often ran into things, sometimes, even trees. He quickly channeled this energy into sports and martial arts.

Little did he know this paved the way for his career in animation where he became obsessed with action and combat scenes. His career now has span nearly 10 years in games, film and commercials as a character animator.

David has worked on numerous top notch titles for game studios such as Activision, Lucas Arts, Bungie and Naughty Dog where he was worked on “Uncharted 2” and “Uncharted 3”.

He has contributed on films for VFX studios, Weta Digital, Sony Pictures Imageworks and Digital Domain. More recently, he completed work on the new exclusive PS3 title, “The Last of Us” as the lead cinematic animator / supervisor and is currently an animation instructor in the Games Workshop for iAnimate.net.

Keith Lango - Animator at Valve Corporation

Keith Lango is an icon in the world of Animation; he is currently an Animator at Valve Corporation and a Former Animator at Blur, "Big Idea" Animation and VFX Studios. Ever since he decided to learn animation and CG all on his own, Keith has working in every field of animation, from freelance, to animator to director to teaching and creating his own animation company.

Keith was born in a small suburb of Hamburg, Buffalo (New York). It wasn't until he was around his twenties when he decided to give animation and CG a chance; he took a loan and bought a computer and software to learn everything at home, failing countless times until he learned everything right.

Keith has been involved in animating movies and 3D games such as "Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas" by Disney; "Portal 2", "Team Fortress 2" by Valve Corporation; Associate Director on an Oscar nominated film and more.

Ever since doing animation, Keith has been doing animation tutorials; selling tutorials at his store; teaching the art of animation online, to students.

Hal Hickel - Animation Director at Industrial Light & Magic and a Former PIXAR Animator

Hal Hickel is a Director at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) and a Former Animator at PIXAR Animation Studios. Ever since watching “King Kong” and “Star Wars”, Hal has been fascinated by Motion Picture Visual Effects and Stop-Motion Animation.

Hal was born in Boulder Colorado, but soon after, he moved to Riverside, California until the age of ten. He then moved away to different places around the county until few years later he finally settled in San Francisco Bay Area, where he started his future career as an stop-motion animator and then finally an animator for film animation studios.

Hal has been involved in animating the memorable and breakthrough movie 3D animated film ‘Toy Story’ by PIXAR Animation Studios. Ever since he left PIXAR, Hal has been working at Industrial Light & Magic Studios, working as an animator and director on incredible VFX for motion picture films.

Isaac Orloff - Animation Visual development Artist and Illustrator

Isaac Orloff is an illustrator and visual development artist for the television and film animation industry. Since graduating from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2009, he has worked with several animation studios such as Calabash Animation, World Wide Biggies, Zynga, CloudKid, Digital Kitchen and many more.

Issac was born in Brooklyn, NY but soon moved away to Montclair, NJ, where he started his future career as an artist on television and film animation. Ever since, he then moved to San Francisco Bay area to work full time on a video game.

While working full time and as well Freelancing on Animation, Isaac also teaches a Visual Development workshop at The Academy of Art and is also working on a book for CTN animation expo.
